High‐Performance and Stable Plasmonic‐Functionalized Formamidinium‐Based Quasi‐2D Perovskite Photodetector for Potential Application in Optical Communication
Tao Wang,Daming Zheng,Jike Zhang,Jie Qiao,Changjun Min,Xiaocong Yuan,Michael Geoffrey Somekh,Fu Feng +7 more
TL;DR: In this article , a flexible photodetector based on formamidinium-based perovskites ((BA)2FAPb2I7) is developed, which shows fast response and excellent air-stability.

Probing the Fluorescence Dipoles of Single Cubic CdSe/CdS Nanoplatelets with Vertical or Horizontal Orientations
Fu Feng,Loan Thu Nguyen,Loan Thu Nguyen,Michel Nasilowski,Brice Nadal,Benoit Dubertret,Agnès Maître,Laurent Coolen +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a cubic-shaped nanoplatelet with a thin CdSe core sandwiched in a thick CdS shell is considered, and a combination of polarization measurement and radiation pattern Fourier analysis is performed to determine the orientation of the platelet.
Active Modulation of Graphene Near‐Infrared Electroabsorption Employing Borophene Plasmons in a Wide Waveband
TL;DR: In this paper , a prototype of a modulator is theoretically presented for the active modulation of graphene electroabsorption enabled by the tunable anisotropic borophene plasmons.

Near-infrared emitting CdTeSe alloyed quantum dots: Raman scattering, photoluminescence and single-emitter optical properties
Le Xuan Hung,Le Xuan Hung,Pascal D. Bassène,Pascal D. Bassène,Pham Nam Thang,Nguyen Thu Loan,Nguyen Thu Loan,Willy Daney de Marcillac,Amit Raj Dhawan,Amit Raj Dhawan,Fu Feng,Juan U. Esparza-Villa,Nguyen Thi Thuc Hien,Nguyen Quang Liem,Laurent Coolen,Pham Thu Nga,Pham Thu Nga +16 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the synthesis of ternary core/shell zinc-blende CdTeSe/ZnSe quantum dots with optimal synthesis parameters is analyzed, and the photoluminescence wavelength expands up to 860 nm for the core CcTeSe and 900 nm for ZnSe samples, a near infrared bandgap with potential applications in photovoltaics.
Data transmission with up to 100 orbital angular momentum modes via commercial multi-mode fiber and parallel neural networks.
Fu Feng,Jiaan Gan,Jinpeng Nong,Peng Chen,Guangyong Chen,Changjun Min,Xiaocong Yuan,Michael Geoffrey Somekh +7 more
TL;DR: This work presents an artificial intelligence enhanced orbital angular momentum (OAM) data transmission system that enables encoded data retrieval from speckle patterns generated by an incident beam carrying different topological charges at the distal end of a multi-mode fiber.
