Derivation of diurnal courses of albedo and reflected solar irradiance from airborne POLDER data acquired near solar noon
TL;DR: In this paper, a physically based method was proposed to derive the diurnal course of reflected solar irradiance from Sun-synchronous observations under clear-sky conditions using both reciprocal kernel-driven bidirectional reflectance distribution function (KD BRDF) models and narrowband to broadband (NTB) conversion.

Spatialization of sensible heat flux over a heterogeneous landscape
Jean Pierre Lagouarde,Frédéric Jacob,Xing Fa Gu,Albert Olioso,Jean Marc Bonnefond,Yann Kerr,John McAneney,M. Irvine +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, two methods d'estimation du flux de chaleur sensible on a surface composite sol nu/ble sont comparees, one of which is based on the use of correlation and the other based on le modele de surface SEBAL alimente.

Study on thermal infrared emission directionality over crop canopies with TIR camera imagery
Qinhuo Liu,Xingfa Gu,Xiaowen Li,Frédéric Jacob,J.-F. Hanocq,Mark A. Friedl,Alan H. Strahler,Tao Yu,Guoliang Tian +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a wide-angle thermal video camera (INFRAMETRICS) equipped with an 80° FOV lens was mounted on a small aircraft and used to acquire thermal imagery along several different flight traces.

Influence of agricultural practices on micrometerological spatial variations at local and regional scales
Dominique Courault,Frédéric Jacob,V. Benoit,Marie Weiss,Olivier Marloie,J.-F. Hanocq,E. Fillol,Albert Olioso,G. Dedieu,P. Gouaux,Andrew N. French +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors focused on linking micrometeorological conditions to cultural practices at the local and regional scales (lower than 100 km2), over an agricultural region in South Western France.

Temperature and emissivity extracted from airborne multi-channel data in the ReSeDA experiment
César Coll,Vicente Caselles,Eva María Rubio,Enric Valor,F. Sospedra,Frédéric Baret,Laurent Prévot,Frédéric Jacob +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, surface temperatures and emissivities were recovered from thermal infrared data of the Digital Airborne Imaging Spectrometer (DAIS) acquired over the ReSeDA site.
