Novel triazolopeptides: chirospecific synthesis and conformational studies of proline derived analogs
TL;DR: NMR studies displayed that the newly developed 4,5-triazolopeptides, which incorporate a biomimetic triazole NH-function as polar constraint element, showed a substantially higher tendency to form a cis-prolyl-geometry than a comparable native peptide sequence.

Solvent dependent reactivity: solvent activation vs. solvent coordination in alkylphosphane iron complexes
TL;DR: The pyridine-derived tetrapodal tetraphosphane C5H3N[CMe(CH2PMe2)2]2 is susceptible to selective protonolysis of a phosphorus-carbon bond in the presence of iron(II) salts.

trans‐1,2‐Bis(N‐methylimidazol‐2‐yl)ethylene: Towards Building Blocks for 2D Fabrics and MML‐Type 1D Molecular Strands
Nina V. Fischer,Mohammad Sahabul Alam,Mohammad Sahabul Alam,Inshad Jum'h,Michael Stocker,Nico Fritsch,Viacheslav Dremov,Frank W. Heinemann,Nicolai Burzlaff,Paul Müller +9 more
TL;DR: The synthesis of a new class of N,N ligands suitable as molecular building block for linear coordination polymers, and two novel imidazole-based ligands were designed and obtained by a two-step synthesis.

Synthesis, crystal and solution structures and antimicrobial screening of palladium(II) complexes with 2-(phenylselanylmethyl)oxolane and 2-(phenylselanylmethyl)oxane as ligands.
Zorica M. Bugarčić,Vera M. Divac,Marina Kostić,Nenad Janković,Frank W. Heinemann,Niko S. Radulović,Zorica Stojanović-Radić +6 more
TL;DR: The complexes were shown to possess promising broad spectrum moderate antimicrobial activity that is more pronounced against fungal organisms and probably mediate the transportation of a Pd(II) species across cell membranes.
