Accumulation, translocation and impact of TiO2 nanoparticles in wheat (Triticum aestivum spp.): Influence of diameter and crystal phase
Camille Larue,Julien Laurette,Nathalie Herlin-Boime,Hicham Khodja,Barbara Fayard,Barbara Fayard,Anne-Marie Flank,François Brisset,Marie Carrière,Marie Carrière +9 more
TL;DR: Comparing root accumulation and root-to-shoot translocation in wheat of anatase and rutile TiO(2)-NPs with diameters ranging from 14 nm to 655 nm suggests that only the smallest TiO (2) nanoparticles may be accumulated in wheat plants, although in limited amounts and that their impact is moderate.

PEM water electrolyzers: From electrocatalysis to stack development
Pierre Millet,R. Ngameni,Sergey A. Grigoriev,N. Mbemba,François Brisset,Alireza Ranjbari,Claude Etievant +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors report on recent advances made in PEM water electrolysis technology, including low-cost membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs), cell efficiency, operation at high current density, electrochemical performances and gas purity issues during high-pressure operation, safety considerations, stack design and optimization (for electrolyzers which can produce up to 5m 3 H 2 /h) and performance degradations.

Ultrafine grains and the Hall-Petch relationship in an Al-Mg-Si alloy processed by high-pressure torsion
Aicha Loucif,Roberto B. Figueiredo,Thierry Baudin,François Brisset,R. Chemam,Terence G. Langdon,Terence G. Langdon +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the evolution of hardness and microstructure in a commercial Al 0.6% Mg −0.4% Si alloy during processing by high pressure torsion (HPT) was evaluated.

Matrix-dependent cooperativity in spin crossover Fe(pyrazine)Pt(CN)4 nanoparticles.
Yousuf Raza,Florence Volatron,Simona Moldovan,Ovidiu Ersen,Vincent Huc,Cyril Martini,François Brisset,Alexandre Gloter,Odile Stéphan,Azzedine Bousseksou,Laure Catala,Talal Mallah +11 more
TL;DR: Anisotropic nanoparticles of the Fe(pyrazine)Pt(CN)(4) network were prepared embedded in various matrices that revealed to have a dramatic effect on the cooperative spin crossover phenomena.

Microstructural evolution in an Al-6061 alloy processed by high-pressure torsion
Aicha Loucif,Roberto B. Figueiredo,Thierry Baudin,François Brisset,Terence G. Langdon,Terence G. Langdon +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, experiments were conducted to evaluate the evolution of hardness and microstructure in a commercial aluminum 6061 alloy processed by high pressure torsion (HPT) and the results showed that processing by HPT leads to significant grain refinement with an average grain size of ∼450nm at the edge of a disk subjected to torsional straining through 5 turns.
