Effect of the type of hydrophobic polymers on the size of nanoparticles obtained by emulsification–solvent evaporation
Yulia V. Chernysheva,Valery G. Babak,Natalia R. Kildeeva,Franck Boury,Jean P. Benoit,Nathalie Ubrich,Philippe Maincent +6 more
TL;DR: The effect of the molecular structure of hydrophobic polymers on their interfacial activity at the methylene chloride-water interface, as well as on the emulsifying ability and the size of nanoparticles obtained by emulsification-solvent evaporation, has been studied in this article.

Silica nanofibers as a new drug delivery system: a study of the protein–silica interactions
Nina Henry,Johann Clouet,Catherine Le Visage,Catherine Le Visage,Pierre Weiss,Pierre Weiss,Eric Gautron,Denis Renard,Thomas Cordonnier,Franck Boury,Bernard Humbert,Hélène Terrisse,Jérôme Guicheux,Jérôme Guicheux,Jean Le Bideau +14 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that protein-silica nanofiber interactions are mainly driven by hydrogen bonds and local electrostatic interactions, and the kinetic release of growth factors seem to be compatible with intervertebral disc regenerative medicine.
