Oral health of Indonesian people still be things that must have serious attention from the health service, including dentist or dental nurse. Based on the report basic health research (RISKESDAS) 2007 The Department of health released in 2009 revealed that proportion of people with problems with the teeth and mouth in South Borneo province as much 29.2%. Plaque have an important role to the formation caries and plaque cannot removed by simply gargle but needs to be done by mechanical cleaning is brushing teeth. In general population in various district province south kalimantan brush teeth every day 94,4 %. The prevalence of the population who behaves true rubbing teeth in the province of South Borneo as many 10.3 %.
Purpose: This research aimed to find out effectivity brushing method horizontal, vertical and roll to decrease plaque children ages 9-11 years SDN Pemurus Dalam 6 Banjarmasin. Methods: The type of this research was a Quasi Experimental with Pre-Post Test One Group Design. Using disclosing agent to identify plaque on the teeth before and after treatment and used index measurement personal hygiene performance of modified (phpm).
Results: There was significant difference between the effectiveness brushing method of horizontal, roll and
vertical. Conclusion: Horizontal brushing method was more effective clean plaque.

Strategies that can be taken to achieve caries-free Indonesia 2030 include is increasing promotive and preventive efforts for dental and oral health services. Even in this Pandemic Covid 19 the delivery of counseling or promotive materials is not done face-to-face, because it avoids the risk of local transmission Covid-19 virus. This study aims to increase the knowledge of dental and oral health of elementary school students during the pandemic. The method was through audiovisual media facilitated with online meeting zoom and e-Book. This activity was carried out using the snow-ball technique, 6 elementary schools doing this activity. The activity started with dental training by the FKGUB team through the media zoom with room separation in 6 breakout rooms, so a total of 42 participants attended. After that were held for Little Doctors activities to educate 5 friends in their elementary schools, so there was 150 participants. In the pre-test results, as many as 18 students scored below 50 and as many as 10 students scored above 50. In the post-test results, 24 students got scores above 50 and 1 student got a score of 20. There is a difference knowledge level oral health of students by little doctor with online education in pandemic Covid-19 Era in elementary school Malang.

Abstract Background  Traditional classroom lectures have been the backbone of the education system for a long time although this method is most effective but it may not always permit active engagement with the matter and learn it. In contrast, active teaching formats such as fishbowl and snowball techniques allow students to participate in the task of attaining knowledge by shifting the target from preceptor to student, thereby allowing a better understanding of the concepts. Methodology  A total of 80 final-year undergraduate dental students were included in this study. Each student was informed regarding study design and protocol. A lecture on the principles of Pediatric Endodontics was delivered to the students in small groups using the routine virtual method, following which a pre-test activity questionnaire and formal thinking questionnaire were given to the students for scoring. Following this, the class of 80 was divided into smaller groups of four each and the Fishbowl–snowball activity was performed. A post-test activity questionnaire and formal thinking questionnaire were given once again to the students for scoring. The mean pre and post-test scores were statistically analyzed using paired t -test by statistical software SPSS version 20. A p -value of < 0.05 was considered significant. Results  The overall mean difference between pre and post-test activity and formal thinking scores was seen to be statistically significant ( p  < 0.001). Conclusion  It was seen that a combination of fishbowl and snowball method of teaching led to more satisfactory results as compared with the routine classroom teaching method.

Result and and discussion: Results obtained from the pre-test and post-test, there were significant differences in results, where in the pre-test results the percentage/number of correct answers was below 50%, while in the post-test results the percentage of correct answers was above50% and some were even 100% correct. Conclussion: There is a difference knowledge level oral health of students by little doctor with online education in pandemic Covid-19 Era in elementary school Malang

Tooth decay is experienced by many children, such as cavities, tartar, inflammation of the gums, sensitive teeth, and bad breath, the cause is a mistake when brushing of teeth. The snowball throwing learning method is cooperative towards changes in brushing behavior, because the learning model is effective in training students to brush their teethes, the aim of the researchers was to analyze the effect of the snowball throwing method on changes in brushing behavior in 4th grade children at Surabaya. The research method is Pre-Experimental with approach to One group pre-post tes design, the number of samples is 65 students from grade 4 at Surabaya. The technical sampling uses simple random sampling, data collection uses a questionnaire, then the data is processed and analyzed using paired T-test (α = 0.05). The results showed that after a paired T-test statistical test, the value of ρ = 0.000 and α = 0.05 means that ρ < α, H0 is rejected, meaning there is an influence of the snowball throwing method on changes in brushing behavior of school children at Surabaya. Conclusion of the study, the snowball throwing method provides an increase in the behavior of brushing teeth, that the students practice brushing their teeth twice in the morning and night before going to bed properly. Suggestion, the snowball throwing method can be applied in schools for learning activities.
