Differences in cooking and eating properties between chalky and translucent parts in rice grains.
TL;DR: In this article, the differences in cooking and eating properties between chalky and translucent parts of rice grains were investigated in samples from six indica rice varieties with different palatabilities, and the results showed that the chalky part in milled rice had a dramatically higher transition temperature (T o, T p, T c ) and Δ H than the translucent part and the difference was much larger than that among varieties.

Simultaneous determination of fifteen toxic alkaloids in meat dishes and vegetable dishes using double layer pipette tip magnetic dispersive solid phase extraction followed by UFLC-MS/MS
TL;DR: A double layer pipette tip magnetic dispersive solid phase extraction (DPT-MSPE) based on polyamidoamine-functionalized magnetic carbon nanotubes (PAMAM@Mag-CNTs) was developed for the purification of fifteen toxic alkaloids in meat dishes and vegetable dishes as mentioned in this paper.

Dual application of synthesized SnO2 nanoparticles in ion chromatography for sensitive fluorescence determination of ketoprofen in human serum, urine, and canal water samples
TL;DR: In this article, the dual application of synthesized porous SnO2 nanoparticles (NPs) for selective conversion of non-fluorescent ketoprofen (KP) into a highly fluorescent species and as a sorbent in a μ-sample preparation method for extraction of KP from the three complex human serum, urine, and canal water samples was introduced.
