Health Index-Based Prognostics for Remaining Useful Life Predictions in Electrical Machines
TL;DR: The novelty of this method lies in the proposed dynamic HI smoothing approach where three characteristics of HI, namely monotonicity, gradualness, and consistency, are incorporated to smooth the current HI values with the previously predicted ones.

Robust Feature Selection for Microarray Data Based on Multicriterion Fusion
Feng Yang,Kezhi Mao +1 more
TL;DR: This study analyzes the robustness issue existing in feature selection for high-dimensional and small-sized gene-expression data, and proposes to improve robustness of feature selection algorithm by using multiple feature selection evaluation criteria.

- 11 May 2020
TL;DR: This paper proposes to adopt Multi-Party Computation (MPC) to achieve privacy-preserving model aggregation for FL, and proposes to develop a two-phase mechanism by electing a small committee and providing MPC-enabled model aggregation service to a larger number of participants through the committee.

Remaining useful life prediction of induction motors using nonlinear degradation of health index
TL;DR: A generic prognostics framework with HI dynamic smoothing and multi-model ensemble realization, which enables the incorporation of different types of HI degradations is proposed, indicating the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed prognostic method using nonlinearly degrading HI.
