Potential biomarkers for esophageal cancer
TL;DR: The potential biomarkers of esophageal cancer in three aspects were reviewed: Immunohistochemical markers, blood-based markers, miRNA markers and Gene expression profiling, which provided promising therapeutic targets for the diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of esophileal cancer.
Esophageal cancer stem cells and implications for future therapeutics.
TL;DR: Targeting CSCs of esophageal cancer can be a logical strategy to treat EC, as these cells are responsible for carcinoma recurrence and chemoradiation resistance.
Fenofibrate enhances radiosensitivity of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma by suppressing hypoxia-inducible factor-1α expression.
Yangyang Ge,Jia Liu,Xi Yang,Hongcheng Zhu,Baixia Yang,Kuiling Zhao,Zhijun Wu,Guo-Jian Cheng,Feng Wang,Feng Ni,Qin Ge,Yanguang Yang,Guomei Tai,Xinchen Sun,Jing Cai +14 more
TL;DR: The data suggest that fenofibrate may be a potential radiosensitive drug, and the inhibition of HIF-1α and VEGF expression in ESCC cells contributed to the radiosensitive effect.

NEDD9 overexpression correlates with poor prognosis in gastric cancer
Yi Liu,Ding Wang,Kuiling Zhao,Jianwei Zhu,Haibing Yin,Ying-Ze Wei,Zhijun Wu,Guo-Jian Cheng,Feng Wang,Feng Ni,Xiao-Lin Wang,Guangxin Cao,Jian Huang,Jing Cai +13 more
TL;DR: The overall 5-year survival of gastric cancer patients with strong positive NEDD9 expression was significantly shorter compared with the survival of NEDd9 negative and weakly positive expression group, suggesting NED D9 may be used as a biomarker in the clinical setting to predict the prognosis of gastrics cancer patients.

He Xiangfeng,Cai Jing,Qiang Fulin,Shen Kang,Wang Jianhong,Feng Wang,Yang Baixia,Kuiling Zhao,Shi Wen +8 more
- 18 Nov 2015
TL;DR: In this article, a manual oral cavity gag, including upper shed subassembly and under shed subassembles, is described. But the model is based on a utility model, which is not suitable for the use of oral cavity observation or radiation therapy.
