Boron nitride coatings by chemical vapor deposition from borazine
TL;DR: The surface of the as-deposited coatings exhibited a pebble-like and compact structure, and the cross-sectional morphology of the coatings showed a laminar structure as discussed by the authors.

Crystal structure and electrical properties of (Li, Ce, Nd)-multidoped CaBi2Nb2O9 high temperature ceramics
TL;DR: In this article, Li, Ce, and Nd-multidoped CaBi 2 Nb 2 O 9 (CBN) Aurivillius phase ceramics were prepared via a conventional solid-state sintering route.

Mechanical and dielectric properties of silicon nitride ceramics with high and hierarchical porosity
TL;DR: The porosity of the obtained Si 3 N 4 porous ceramics is 40% with pores sizes ranging 0.1-∼-1.0μm, 5−∼30-μm and 50− ∼-200μm as mentioned in this paper.

Crystallization behavior of three-dimensional silica fiber reinforced silicon nitride composite
TL;DR: The crystallization behavior of a new type of ceramic matrix composites, three-dimensional silica fiber reinforced silicon nitride matrix composite prepared by perhydropolysilazane infiltration and pyrolysis, was investigated by X-ray diffractometry and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy as mentioned in this paper.

Preparation and mechanical properties of unidirectional boron nitride fibre reinforced silica matrix composites
TL;DR: In this paper, the unidirectional BN f /SiO 2 composites were prepared via sol-gel method, and the structure, composition and mechanical properties were studied, showing that the composites consist of BN fibres and α-cristobalite matrix probably as well as the interface phases of Si 3 N 4 and B 2 O 3.
