TL;DR: An 18 year old patient with right frontal lobe epilepsy due to paramedian focal cortical dysplasia (FCD) is reported, whose usual seizure semiology consisted of a somatosensory aura of theleft hand followed by a tonic seizure of the left arm which evolved to a bilateral asymmetrical tonic seizures without loss of consciousness.

TL;DR: Results demonstrate that a hippocampal lesion can improve performance in a rat SRTT, which supports the hypothesis that loss or impairment of hippocampal function can enhance specific task performance, especially when it is dependent on procedural (striatum-dependent) mechanisms with minimal spatial requirements.
