Layer-by-layer macroassembly of inorganic CNTs and MXenes with organic PVA for enhancing the interfacial properties of carbon fiber/epoxy composites
Feiyan Su,Yuecheng Li,Weilong Deng,Xin Zhang,Zhenquan Zhao,Wei-Mon Yan,Lili Zhang,Chengying Bai,Xiaolong Zhang,Ting Zheng,Chunrui Lu,Xiaodong Wang +11 more
TL;DR: In this article , two inorganic nanomaterials, MXenes and carbon nanotubes (CNTs), with different dimensions were directly used to modify carbon fiber fabrics using polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) as an organic binder through the layer-by-layer vacuum filtration method to improve the weak interface between the CF fabrics and epoxy (EP) resin matrix.

Ca2+-based metal-organic framework as enzyme preparation to promote the catalytic activity of amylase
TL;DR: In this article , a Ca2+-based metal-organic framework (UTSA-280) was prepared to encapsulate amylases (α-amylase, pullulanase, and gluco amylase) in situ.

Analysis of QTL mapping for germination and seedling response to drought stress in sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.)
TL;DR: In this article , the authors conducted quantitative trait locus (QTL) analysis for different sunflower traits during the germination and seedling stages and identified 60 putative drought-related genes.
Rapid fabrication of coal gangue-based alkali activated foams and application as pH regulators
xinyu Li,Jiaqi Zheng,Kankan Zheng,Feiyan Su,Zhenquan Zhao,Chengying Bai,Ting Zheng,Xiaodong Wang,Yingjie Qiao,Paolo Colombo +9 more
TL;DR: In this article , high porosity coal gangue-based alkali activated foams were synthesized by an efficient microwave foaming route within 3 min. The porosity, density, porous structure and compression strength of the foams produced using different microwave power settings, together with their use as pH regulators, were evaluated.
