Comparisons of Rabbit Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cell Isolation and Culture Methods In Vitro
Weidong Zhang,Fangbiao Zhang,Hongcan Shi,Rong-bang Tan,Shi Han,Gang Ye,Shu Pan,Fei Sun,Xingchen Liu +8 more
TL;DR: Untreated whole BM adherent cultures are best for rabbit BMSC isolation and the 4th generation of cells has the strongest proliferation capacity.
Genipin cross-linked decellularized tracheal tubular matrix for tracheal tissue engineering applications.
Fei Sun,Yuan Jiang,Yanfei Xu,Hongcan Shi,Si-Quan Zhang,Xingchen Liu,Shu Pan,Gang Ye,Weidong Zhang,Fangbiao Zhang,Chong-Hao Zhong +10 more
TL;DR: Treatment with genipin improves the mechanical properties of decellularized airway matrices without altering the pro-angiogenic properties or eliciting an in vivo inflammatory response.
Structural integrity, immunogenicity and biomechanical evaluation of rabbit decelluarized tracheal matrix
Fei Sun,Shu Pan,Hongcan Shi,Fangbiao Zhang,Weidong Zhang,Gang Ye,Xingchen Liu,Si-Quan Zhang,Chong-Hao Zhong,Xiao-Long Yuan +9 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that seven cycles of the DEM generates a bioengineered rabbit tracheal matrix that is structurally and mechanically similar to native trachea, and biomechanical tests showed that decellularization did not significantly influence the mechanical properties.

Rapid Preparation Method for Preparing Tracheal Decellularized Scaffolds: Vacuum Assistance and Optimization of DNase I.
Zhihao Wang,Fei Sun,Yi Lu,boyou zhang,Guozhong Zhang,Hongcan Shi +5 more
- 16 Apr 2021
TL;DR: The 6-KU group could quickly prepare rabbit tracheal scaffolds with good decellularization effects in only 2 days, which significantly shortened the preparation cycle reducing the required cost.

A Comparative Study of the Effects of Different Decellularization Methods and Genipin-Cross-Linking on the Properties of Tracheal Matrices
TL;DR: The rabbit trachea processed by the DEM had better biocompatibility and lower immunogenicity, and its structural and mechanical characteristics were effectively improved after the genipin treatment, which is suitable for engineering replacement tracheal tissue.
