TL;DR: In this paper , a new simulation framework of the Pyramid of Khafre and the detector setup is presented, which will serve as a basis to develop the data and image reconstruction algorithms to be used during the future muography campaign in the pyramid.
A Review of Chirality Finding Techniques of DWCNT

Abstract: Double Walled Carbon Nanotube has shown remarkable electrical and mechanical properties. However, their characterization has been a great challenge. Different techniques previously existed for finding the chirality of carbon nanotube. But implementing those techniques for double walled carbon nanotube represents various challenges due to interaction between the tubes and change in the optical and electrical properties. In this work, for the first time we represent a complete overview of the possible techniques proposed in finding the chirality of Double walled carbon nanotube. Additionally we compare their relative advantages and disadvantages taking accuracy, feasibility and other factors into account.

Improved Energy Management through Doppler Radar Smart Occupancy Sensing
Ryan Neville,Farjana Snigdha,Khaldoon Ishmael,Miles Topping,Victor Lubecke,Olga-Boric Lubecke +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a Doppler radar-based occupancy sensor, TruePODS, is used to detect human presence and the greater implications that this technology provides, as a proof-of-concept, six modules were deployed in a single building on a university campus over a period of six months.
Development of a Novel Method for Automatic Detection of Musical Chords
Samin Yaseer Mahmud,Farjana Snigdha,Adnan Siraj Rakin +2 more
- 01 Jan 2018
TL;DR: This paper represents a method to extract guitar chords from a given audio file using a probabilistic approach called Maximum likelihood estimation, which is termed as ‘Maximum Likelihood Estimation’ and used to approximate the musical chord for the first time with high level of accuracy.
