An extended Kalman filter for identification of biased sinusoidal signals
Mehrdad Yazdanian,Mohsen Mojiri,Farid Sheikholeslam +2 more
- 15 May 2012
TL;DR: The proposed model not only has the ability of estimating constant parameters, but also tracks variations in the bias component and frequency, and demonstrates the desirable performance of the proposed EKF for parameter estimation of a biased sinusoidal signal.

Newton-based extremum seeking for a static map coupled with a diffusion PDE at an arbitrary interior point
Parisa Nikdel,Farid Sheikholeslam,Maryam Zekri,Mohammadali Ghadiri-Modarres +3 more
- 23 Feb 2021
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors considered a more general case where the optimization can take place at an arbitrary interior point of the diffusion partial differential equation (PDE) and showed that the proposed scheme achieves local exponential convergence to a neighborhood of the extremum.

Consensus in first-order nonlinear multi-agent systems with state time delays using adaptive fuzzy wavelet networks:
TL;DR: Adaptive fuzzy wavelet networks are used to design two novel control algorithms for non linear systems without delays and nonlinear systems with state time delays and proper Lyapunov functions are obtained and the uniform ultimately bounded stability of closed-loop systems is proved.

Consensus in networks of uncertain euler-lagrange agents using adaptive gravity compensation
Seyed Mostafa Almodarresi,Seyed Mostafa Almodarresi,Marzieh Kamali,Emmanuel Nuño,Romeo Ortega,Farid Sheikholeslam +5 more
TL;DR: Two adaptive controllers are reported that solve both consensus problems by only estimating the gravitational term of the agents and hence without requiring the complete regressor matrix.
