Improving the performance of a CAE-based reduced-order model for predicting turbulent airflow field around an isolated high-rise building
TL;DR: In this paper , three different approaches, namely, convolutional autoencoder, multi-scale CAE, and self-attention CAE (SA-CAE), are developed for dimensionality reduction, which is considered the first step of the development of a NIROM.

Photocatalytic Cleaning Performance of Air Filters for a Binary Mixture
TL;DR: In this paper, a single and a mixture of acetone and MEK at 100 ppb each in a single-pass duct system were tested in an effort to obtain knowledge associated with competitive photochemical reactions involved in.

Influence of air infiltration on airflow in a ventilated isothermal two-zone enclosure
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the influence of air infiltration on the airflow and contaminant distribution in a ventilated isothermal two-zone enclosure by numerical simulation, and the predicted results indicate that a local exhaust will effectively limit the transportation of the contaminant from the infiltration zone into the ventilation zone, if the door opening and the exhaust are properly placed.

Performance of mechanical filters used in general ventilation against nanoparticles
TL;DR: With an equal mass, nanoparticles (NP) have a higher toxicity than particles with the same chemical composition but with larger surface area However, the toxicological knowledge concerning NP is limited.
