A machine learning method for buckling design of internally pressurized torispherical heads considering geometric imperfection
TL;DR: In this paper , a machine learning method is proposed for buckling design of internally pressurized torispherical heads, and geometric imperfection generated in the fabrication process is considered in the prediction of buckling pressure.

A direct approach to progressive buckling design considering ratcheting deformation
TL;DR: In this paper, a direct approach for structural progressive buckling design considering ratcheting deformation is developed, which can generate progressive bucking design curves in the extended Bree diagram, and a cylindrical shell model with an opening is provided as a numerical example.

Experimental and numerical investigations on buckling behaviours of axially compressed cylindrical–conical–cylindrical shells at elevated temperature
TL;DR: In this article , experimental and numerical studies are conducted to explore the buckling behaviors of cylindrical-conical-cylindrical assembly shells under axial compression at elevated temperature, and the authors indicate a good agreement between experimental data and numerical result based on the model with measured geometric imperfection.
