Effects of different pretreatment methods on biochar properties from pyrolysis of corn stover
TL;DR: In this article, the effects of pretreatment methods including drying, vacuum freezing drying (VFD), pelleting, and ultrasonic vibration-assisted pellets (UV-AP) on corn stover and biochar properties, the physicochemical and morphological changes of biomass before and after pretreatment were examined, and the results showed that different pre-treatment methods have a significant effect on the surface and internal structure of biochar.
