To evaluate the serum D-dimer level and its diagnostic and prognostic predictive value in patients with different types of aortic dissection.Eighty-four aortic dissection patients who were diagnosed clinically in our hospital from January 2017 to January 2021 were selected for the study. All patients were divided into Stanford type A (39 cases) and Stanford type B (45 cases) groups. The serum D-dimer level was detected at 1 h, 6 h, 12 h, 24 h, and 72 h after admission to the hospital, and its expression level with different types of aortic dissection was analyzed. The relationship between D-dimer and the prognosis of patients was also analyzed.The serum D-dimer levels of patients in group A were significantly higher than those in group B at 6 h, 12 h, 24 h, and 72 h after admission, and the differences were statistically significant. In group A, 16 patients died, and 23 patients survived, while in group B, 18 patients died, and 27 patients survived. The serum D-dimer level of the dead and surviving patients in group A was significantly higher than that of group B, and the serum D-dimer level of dead patients in groups A and B was significantly higher than that of surviving patients. For diagnostic value, the AUC was 0.89, sensitivity was 76.92%, specificity was 90.00% in group A, and the AUC was 0.82, sensitivity was 71.11%, and specificity was 85.00% in group B. For the prognostic predicted value, the AUC was 0.74 in group A, while the AUC was 0.69 in group B.D-dimer has different serum levels in different types of aortic dissection patients, with higher levels in Stanford A. Serum D-dimer levels may be used as a better biomarker to diagnose the two types of aortic dissection and play an important role in patient prognostic prediction, especially Stanford type A.

Aberrant expression of the SRY-related HMG-box (SOX) genes contributes to tumor development and progression. This research aimed to identify the regulation of the SOX genes in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD). Expression profiles downloaded from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) were conducted to analyze the expression and function of the SOX genes. A competing endogenous RNAs (ceRNA) network mediated by the SOX genes was effectively constructed consisting of 64 lncRNAs, 29 miRNAs, and 11 SOX genes based on predicted miRNAs shared by lncRNAs and mRNAs using miRDB, TargetScan, miRTarBase, miRcode, and starBase v2.0. SOX9 was identified as a prognostic signature, which showed the usefulness of diagnosis and prognosis of STAD by the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) and Kaplan-Meier curves. SOX9 was also shown specifically in STAD and identified as highly expressed in the gastrointestinal tract. Gene Ontology (GO) enrichment analysis showed that SOX9 might influence the genes related to the pattern specification process, sodium ion homeostasis, and potassium ion transport, mainly including FEZF1, HOXC13, HOXC10, HOXC9, HOXA11, DPP6, ATP4B, CASQ2, KCNA1, ATP4A, and SFRP1. Furthermore, HOTAIR knockdown, miR-206-mimic transfection, the Cell Count Kit-8 (CCK-8) assay were performed to verify the function of HOTAIR/miR-206/SOX9 axis, which was identified in the ceRNA network analysis. HOTAIR could induce proliferation potentially by competitively binding miR-206/SOX9 axis in STAD. These findings provide new clues with prognostic and therapeutic implications in STAD and suggest that HOTAIR/miR-206/SOX9 might be a potential new strategy for therapeutic targeting of gastric cancer.

Expression Profiles, Prognosis, and ceRNA Regulation of SRY-Related HMG-Box Genes in Stomach Adenocarcinoma.

The Yining char samples were prepared in following conditions that raw coal particle size was in range 5-6mm and pyrolysis final temperature was 900oC, 1000oC and 1100oC, respectively, with a heating rate 20oC/min under atmospheric pressure. The gasification reactivity of chars was performed by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) at 900oC in steam, CO2 and steam/CO2 mixture, respectively. The results show that the gasification reactivity of chars decreases with the increasing of pyrolysis final temperatures and there is synergistic effect between steam and CO2 during co-gasification that influences the char reactivity. The reason may be explained by char structure change, which FTIR showed that –CH3 and –O–CH3 decreased and even disappeared and XRD analysis suggested that the thickness of microcrystalline Lc, the values of microcrystalline diameter La and the aromatic of char fa became larger with increasing pyrolysis temperature.
