A new satellite imagery stereo pipeline designed for scalability, robustness and performance
Julien Michel,E. Sarrazin,David Youssefi,M. Cournet,Fabrice Buffe,Jean-Marc Delvit,A. Emilien,J. Bosman,O. Melet,Celine L'Helguen +9 more
TL;DR: A new Multiview Stereo Pipeline, called CARS, dedicated to satellite imagery, is presented, designed to maximize scalability robustness and performance and compares its accuracy with the state-of-the-art pipelines on a reference dataset.
Metrics for nonlinear model updating in structural dynamics
TL;DR: In this paper, a comparative study between distance measures or metrics for use in nonlinear model updating using vibration test data is performed. And the relative performances of the different metrics are investigated based on numerical simulations.

TL;DR: CARS as mentioned in this paper is a stereovision pipeline for satellite images, tailored for scalability and robustness, composed of two main steps: the preparation step which aims at obtaining the best possible epipolar geometry and estimating the disparity range that should be explored, and the DSM computation step, which processes several stereo-rectified pairs in order to produce a single raster DSM.
