Triangular quantum photonic devices with integrated detectors in silicon carbide
Sridhar Majety,S. Strohauer,Pranta Saha,F. Wietschorke,Jonathan J. Finley,Kai Mueller,Marina Radulaski +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a triangular cross-section SiC waveguide with a photonic crystal mirror on its one side and a superconducting nanowire single photon detector (SNSPD) on the other is proposed for the collection and detection of color center emission.

The dependence of timing jitter of superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors on the multi-layer sample design and slew rate.
Rasmus Flaschmann,L. Zugliani,Christian Schmid,Simone Spedicato,S. Strohauer,F. Wietschorke,F. Flassig,Jonathan J. Finley,Kai Müller +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors investigated the timing jitter of superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors and found a strong dependence on the detector response, which is attributed to capacitive behaviour affecting the pulse heights, rise times and consequently timing jitters.
Site-Selective Enhancement of Superconducting Nanowire Single-Photon Detectors via Local Helium Ion Irradiation
S. Strohauer,F. Wietschorke,L. Zugliani,Rasmus Flaschmann,Christian Schmid,Stefanie Grotowski,M. Muller,Björn Jonas,Matthias Althammer,R. Gross,K Muller,Jonathan J. Finley +11 more
- 23 May 2023
TL;DR: In this article , the authors used local helium ion irradiation to post-process and tune single-photon detection efficiency, switching current, and critical temperature of individual devices on the same chip.
Superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors made of NbTiN and MoSi (Conference Presentation)
L. Zugliani,Rasmus Flaschmann,Christian Schmid,S. Strohauer,F. Wietschorke,Stefanie Grotowski,Simone Spedicato,Sven Ernst,F. Flassig,Matthias Althammer,R. Gross,Jonathan J. Finley,Kai Müller +12 more
- 03 Oct 2022
TL;DR: In this article , the properties of the fabricated detector, such as efficiency, timing resolution, and energy sensitivity, were investigated, based on the NbTiN and MoSi deposition parameters.
