A new measurement of the neutron lifetime
TL;DR: In this paper, the mean lifetime τ of the free neutron was measured by counting decay protons stored in an electromagnetic trap, based on five independent measurements for various experimental conditions, and the result was τ = 937 ± 18 s.

Determination of the electron-antineutrino correlation coefficient a in neutron β-decay by measurement of the integrated proton spectrum
P.G. Dawber,J. Byrne,M. G. D. van der Grinten,C. G. Habeck,F Shaikh,J. A. Spain,C.A. Baker,K. Green,R.D. Scott,O. Zimmer +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the electron-antineutrino correlation coefficient was determined from a measurement of the integrated proton energy spectrum following neutron decay in an electromagnetic trap, and some preliminary results were given of an experiment in progress at ILL.

Determination of the electron–antineutrino angular correlation coefficient a0 and the parameter |λ| = |GA/GV | in free neutron β-decay from measurements of the integrated energy spectrum of recoil protons stored in an ion trap

TL;DR: In this paper, the integrated energy spectrum was determined by counting the number of stored protons as a function of mirror potential. But the results were not in agreement with previous measurements of these quantities, and they were corrected by carrying out alternate measurements at trapping times which differ by a factor of 2.
