TL;DR: In this paper, the first excited 2(+) state of the unstable isotope Sn-110 has been studied in safe Coulomb excitation at 2.82 MeV/u using the MINIBALL array at the REX-ISOLDE post accelerator at CERN.
Coulomb excitation of neutron-rich Zn isotopes: First observation of the 2(1)(+) state in Zn-80

TL;DR: For the first time the 2+ --> 0(1)+ transition in 80Zn was observed at 1492(1) keV, and a good N=50 shell closure and a strong Z=28 proton core polarization are indicated.
Cooling of radioactive ions with the Penning trap REXTRAP
TL;DR: In this article, two different cooling techniques have been investigated with REXTRAP, which rely on the use of a buffer gas as the coolant but differ in the way the transversal compression of the stored ion cloud is achieved.

Measurement of the sign of the spectroscopic quadrupole moment for the 2(1)(+) state in Se-70: No evidence for oblate shape
A. M. Hurst,P. A. Butler,D. G. Jenkins,P. Delahaye,Fredrik Wenander,F. Ames,C. J. Barton,T. Behrens,A. Bürger,Joakim Cederkäll,Emyr Clement,T. Czosnyka,Thomas Davinson,G. de Angelis,J. Zielinska +45 more
TL;DR: Experimental evidence is presented here for a prolate shape for the first 2+ state in 70Se, reopening the question over whether there are, as reported earlier, deformed oblate shapes near to the ground state in the light selenium isotopes.
Accurate mass measurements of very short-lived nuclei
Frank Herfurth,Alban Kellerbauer,F. Ames,Georges Audi,Dietrich Beck,Klaus Blaum,Georg Bollen,O. Engels,H.-J. Kluge,David Lunney,R. B. Moore,Markku Oinonen,E. Sauvan,C. Scheidenberger,Stefan Schwarz,G. Sikler,Christian Weber +16 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the mass of 34Ar, 73-78Kr, and 74-76Rb were measured with the Penning-trap mass spectrometer ISOLTRAP.
