Thin-layer chromatography in the study of ester sulphates.
TL;DR: Thin-layer chromatography on silica gel has been applied to the separation of sulphate esters of alkyl, aryl and steroid hydroxy compounds from each other and from their parent unsulphated compounds.

The detection and determination of L-tyrosine O-sulphate in rabbit and other mammalian urine.
TL;DR: Normal rabbit urine was shown to contain a material that has properties identical with l-tyrosine O-sulphate, a normal constituent of rat, sheep, calf and mouse urine and is excreted by these animals in quantities ranging from 0.1 to 0.8mg./day/kg.

I. Polysaccharide sulphates
TL;DR: In this paper, the infrared spectra of a number of sulphated polysaccharides from mammals, cartilaginous fishes and seaweeds have been examined and it has been demonstrated that chemical desulphation results in the disappearance of these bands.
