Some of those implementations determine the semantically diverse subset of candidate responses based on generating, over a neural network response encoder model, embeddings that are each based on one of the plurality of the candidate responses. The embedding based on a given candidate response may be compared to embedding(s) of candidate response(s) already selected for the subset, and the given candidate response added to the subset only if the comparing indicates a difference criterion is satisfied.

The present disclosure resolves a problem that a user cannot send or reply to a communication message in time when it is inconvenient to operate an electronic device, and achieves an effect of improving communication efficiency.

Each received message is categorized by medium, meta-data, content, and relationship. A message queue is transformed from FIFO order to groups ordered by similar urgency, complexity, or both. A compositor operates on messages which contain requests for action, requests for information, or imperative directives. A sender's relationship with the message recipient influences both the priority and the voice of a proffered reply as well as the medium of transmission. Prefatory and operative components of the received message are transformed into selectable reply message components. Sentiment analysis of received requests and proposed replies ensures role-appropriate professional quality and respectfulness. The apparatus offers choices of appropriate tone and style to recipient for salutations, body, and closing. As respondent composes a reply, the apparatus presents previously stored or transmitted content for reuse.

Electronic reply message compositor and prioritization apparatus and method of operation

A device for transmitting a reply message is provided. The device includes a communication unit configured to receive a question message from another device, a controller configured to determine a category of the question message, a display unit configured to display a user interface (UI) for selecting data to be included in a reply message to the question message, according to the category, and a user input unit configured to receive a user input of selecting data to be included in the reply message through the UI, wherein the communication unit transmits the reply message including the data to the other device.

Method and apparatus for recommending reply message

Provided are a device for transmitting an answer message including a display configured to display information, a communicator configured to receive a question message from another device, a processor configured to control the display to display graphics representing a plurality of pieces of recommendation information which are includable in an answer message for the received question message and relations between the plurality of pieces of recommendation information, and a user input unit configured to receive a user input that selects at least one of the plurality of pieces of recommendation information, wherein the communicator is further configured to transmit an answer message including the selected recommendation information to the another device according to the user input.
