TL;DR: Regression analysis of nutrients found that higher intakes of antioxidants and carotenes from vegetables were associated with higher ALSFRS-R scores or percentage FVC, and the usefulness of the weighted quantile sum regression method in the evaluation of diet was demonstrated.
