Discrete groups and simple C*-algebras
Erik Bédos
- 01 May 1991
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that weak Powers groups are C*-simple if and only if the reduced group C *-algebra associated with the discrete group G is simple.
Amenability and Co-Amenability of Algebraic Quantum Groups II.
TL;DR: In this paper, the concepts of amenability and co-amenability for algebraic quantum groups in the sense of A. Van Daele and their relationship with nuclearity and injectivity were investigated.

Notes on hypertraces and C*-algebras
Erik Bédos
- 01 Jan 1994
TL;DR: A friction clutch is provided with an improved connection for the release levers including an opening in the lever provided with a longitudinally extending sharp knife-edge for cooperating with aLongitudinal extending pivot axis formed on an integral support means associated with one of the elements of the clutch.

A new look at crossed product correspondences and associated C*-algebras
TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that when the group is amenable, the Cuntz-Pimsner algebra of the crossed product correspondence is isomorphic to the crossing product of the Toeplitz algebras.
