On the integration of in silico drug design methods for drug repurposing
Eric March-Vila,Luca Pinzi,Noé Sturm,Annachiara Tinivella,Ola Engkvist,Hongming Chen,Giulio Rastelli +6 more
TL;DR: Overall, future developments will greatly benefit from integration of different methods, approaches and disciplines to help to clarify, and therefore to rationally predict, new drug–target, target–disease, and ultimately drug–Disease associations.
Usage of model combination in computational toxicology.
P. Rodríguez-Belenguer,Eric March-Vila,M. Pastor,V. Mangas-Sanjuan,E. Soria-Olivas +4 more
TL;DR: This work provides a guide to the usage of a combination of predictive Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship (QSAR) models, known as metamodels, which consistently outperformed classical QSAR models across all cases, highlighting the importance of alternatives to classical QsAR models when faced with such complexities.

A continuous in silico learning strategy to identify safety liabilities in compounds used in the leather and textile industry
Eric March-Vila,Giacomo Ferretti,E Terricabras,Inés Ardao,José Brea,María J. Varela,Álvaro J Arana,Juan A. Rubiolo,Ferran Sanz,María Isabel Loza,F. Sanchez,Héctor Alonso,Manual Pastor +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a continuous learning strategy for characterizing chemical safety in the leather and textile sector is proposed, which combines data collection from public sources, experimental methods and in-silico predictions for characterising four different endpoints: CMR, ED, PBT, and vPvB.
Moving towards making (quantitative) structure-activity relationships ((Q)SARs) for toxicity-related endpoints findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable (FAIR).
