TL;DR: In this article, a systematic review was performed following the PRISMA guidelines to summarize the available evidence on how to treat these patients after successful elimination of superficial reflux, including four-layer compression dressings, repeat ablations of superficial veins, and endovenous ablation of incompetent perforator veins.
