TL;DR: This study demonstrates that 31P-NMRS is an excellent noninvasive procedure to quantify aerobic metabolism in both fiber types simultaneously and is a good estimate of the oxidative metabolism at the end of the exercise.

TL;DR: Investigations show that normal brain uptake of [11C]PK11195 is very low and shows the feasibility of a semiquantitative method which can be applied to larger cohorts of patients subgroups.
