Arap Bahari sureci, Sosyal ve Ekonomik nedenlere bagli olarak Tunus’ta baslayip kisa bir sure sonra bircok Arap ulkesine yayilmistir. Bu surec, Ortadogu’nun en buyuk ulkelerinden biri olan Misir’da, ulkenin siyasi tarihinde barindirdigi iliskilerinden dolayi diger ulkelere gore farkli boyutlarda gelisim gostermistir. Sosyal hareketlerin etkisiyle orgutlenen rejim muhaliflerinin protestolari sonucu uzun yillardir ulkeyi yoneten Husnu Mubarek gorevi birakmak zorunda kalmistir. 2012 yilinda yapilan Cumhurbaskanligi secimlerini kazanan Musluman Kardesler’in adayi Muhammed Mursi sadece bir yil yonetimde kalabilmistir. 3 Temmuz 2013 yilinda ordu tarafindan yapilan darbeyle Misir’da yonetim askerlere gecmistir. Bu surecle birlikte uzun yillardir demokratik bir yonetime kavusmak isteyen Misir halkinin umutlari baska bir “bahara” kalmistir.

Bu calismanin amaci, Turkiye’de dis borc, ekonomik buyume ve cari islemler dengesi iliskisini analiz etmektir. Calismada, Turkiye ekonomisine ait 1998:Q1-2017:Q4 donemi verileri kullanilarak VAR modeline dayali analizler yapilmistir. Nedensellik analizi sonuclari; dis borc stokunun gayrisafi yurt ici hasila uzerinde cift yonlu, cari islemler dengesinin gayrisafi yurt ici hasila ve dis borc stoku uzerinde ise tek yonlu nedensellik iliskisine sahip oldugunu gostermistir. Etki-tepki fonksiyonu sonuclarinda; gayrisafi yurt ici hasilanin dis borclardaki degisimlere verdigi tepki artan, cari islemler dengesindeki degisime verdigi tepki ise azalan; dis borclarin gayrisafi yurt ici hasiladaki degisimlere verdigi tepki artan, cari islemler dengesindeki degisime verdigi tepki ise azalan niteliktedir. Bu sonuclara gore Turkiye’de, cari acigin ekonomik buyume ile dis borclar uzerinde ve dis borclarin ekonomik buyume uzerinde pozitif etkisi oldugu sonucuna ulasilmistir.

Türkiye Ekonomisinde Dış Borç, Ekonomik Büyüme ve Cari İşlemler Dengesi İlişkisinin Analizi

21 Arab Spring. It has taken its place on the historical stage as one of the most important events of the century. The Arab Spring has many commercial, political, social and cultural effects on the countries of the region and the world. In this study, the Middle East region, the region where the Arab Spring took place, was mentioned for the first time, and the analysis of the Arab Spring with its historical processes through Tunisia, Egypt, Bahrain and Yemen from the countries that experienced the Arab Spring was transmitted through these countries. Turkey, which has been affected by the Arab Spring and has shown its influence, has been assessed on the advantages and disadvantages of the reflections of Turkish foreign policy on the bet countries. As a result, some countries in the Middle East after the Arab Spring turkey, considering its own unique features revealed, foreign policy, in terms of progress towards democracy are ignored because the specific conditions of some countries that have achieved successful results had been obtained positive results. Finally, it is aimed to put forward the thesis that it can have an active role in the Middle East region when political tensions, economic, scientific, cultural and rational realities are reached in Turkish foreign policy.

Arap bahari öncesi̇ ve sonrasina yöneli̇k türk diş poli̇ti̇kasi: tunus, misir, bahreyn ve yemen örneği̇

Health and education expenditures are among the sources of human capital accumulation. It is claimed that health and education expenditures make a positive contribution to the economic growth process through human capital accumulation. In this study, the development of health expenditures in Turkey in the period 1988-2019 and its impact on economic growth is emphasized. In this context, the effects of life expectancy at birth (LEB) and the health expenditures (HE) on economic growth (GDP) were analyzed with the ARDL co-integration test. It was concluded that there is a co-integration relationship between the variables in the long run. In the study, a positive relationship was determined between LEB, HE and GDP in 1998-2019 period in Turkey. In this framework, it has been observed that a one-unit increase in the LEB causes an increase of 0.018 units in GDP and an increase of one-unit in HE leads to an increase of 0.112 units in GDP. When the effects of LEB and HE variables on economic growth are compared, it is concluded that the HE effect is greater in Turkey. In addition, within the framework of Toda-Yamamoto causality analysis, it was found that there is bidirectional causality relationship between health expenditures and economic growth variables.

Tarih boyunca insanlik, bazen istege bagli bazen de zorunlu olarak yasanan, goc hareketlerine taniklik etmistir. Bu goc hareketleri beraberinde toplumun yapisinda cok onemli degisikliklerin olusmasina sebep olmustur. “Arap Bahari”nin son halkasini olusturan Ortadogu cografyasindaki yonetim degisiklikleri hareketleri Suriye’de hala amacina ulasamamistir. Bunun soncu olarak Suriye’de bir ic savasin baslamasini beraberinde getirmistir. Suriye ic savasi ile birlikte insanlik tarihi, dunyanin en buyuk ve zorunlu ic ve dis goc hareketlerinden birine sahit olmaktadir. Turkiye hem sinir komsusu olmasi, hem de iki toplum arasinda gecmise dayali ortak kulturel iliskilerden dolayi Suriyeliler tarafindan en cok tercih edilen ulkelerin basinda yer almaktadir. Bu calismada Suriye ic savasinin sonucu olarak bulunduklari yerleri terk etmek zorunda kalan Suriyeli gocmenlerin genelde Turkiye, ozelde ise Gaziantep ilindeki toplumsal ve ekonomik yansimalari analiz edilmistir. Gaziantep ilinde uygulanan saha arastirmasi sonuclarina gore, Suriyeli gocmenlerin hem toplumsal hem de ekonomik anlamda zorluklar cektikleri gorulmektedir.

Amaç: Türkiye büyüme performansında ihracat ve ithalatın etki kanalı olarak konumunu saptamak üzere bu çalışmada, 1980-2021 dönemi için iktisadi büyüme, ihracat ve ithalat arasındaki dinamik ilişkilerin araştırılması amaçlanmaktadır. 
Tasarım/Yöntem: Teorik bilgiler, lietarür ve VAR yöntemi ile analiz. 
Bulgular: Analiz bulguları, ihracattan iktisadi büyümeye tek yönlü ilişkiye karşın, ithalat ile büyüme arasında çift yönlü nedensellik ortaya koymaktadır. Bulgulardan hareketle, analiz döneminde hem ihracata hem de ithalata dayalı büyüme hipotezinin geçerli olduğu belirlenmiş olmaktadır. 
Sınırlılıklar: Hipotezler, sadece Türkiye için test edilmiştir. Yeni çalışmalarda farklı ülkelerle örneklem genişletilerek hipotezlerin geçerliliği araştırılabilir. 
Özgünlük/Değer: Bu çalışma hem ihracatın hem de ithalatın büyüme üzerindeki etkisini, ortodox politikalardan farklı bir ekonomi modeli deneyen Türkiye için araştırarak mevcut literatüre katkı sağlamayı amaçlanmıştır.
