TL;DR: The results indicate that oxidative status is affected in AA, and high SOD and GSH-Px activities in the scalp of patient with AA found high levels could not protect the patients against the reactive oxygen species.

TL;DR: Both drugs were effective and safe in the treatment of mild to severe AGA, although oral finasteride treatment was more effective (p < 0.05); side effects were all mild, and there was no need to stop the treatment.

Efficacy and safety of serial glycolic acid peels and a topical regimen in the treatment of recalcitrant melasma
