Multibody model based estimation of multiple loads and strain field on a vehicle suspension system
Enrico Risaliti,Enrico Risaliti,Tommaso Tamarozzi,Tommaso Tamarozzi,Martijn Vermaut,Martijn Vermaut,Bram Cornelis,Wim Desmet,Wim Desmet +8 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that a flexible multibody model representation allows to accurately reconstruct the time domain signals of the six loads and of the full strain field, starting from a minimal set of six measured strains, hence providing an appealing alternative to direct measurement methods.

A State-Input Estimation Approach for Force Identification on an Automotive Suspension Component
Enrico Risaliti,Enrico Risaliti,Bram Cornelis,Tommaso Tamarozzi,Tommaso Tamarozzi,Wim Desmet +5 more
- 01 Jan 2016
TL;DR: In this paper, a coupled state-input estimation approach is used in order to combine experimental and simulation data, and a Kalman filter is then used to perform the estimation, where the system-underinvestigation is an automotive suspension component.

Real-time implementation of yaw rate and sideslip control through individual wheel torques
Mariagrazia Tristano,Basilio Lenzo,Xuyao Xu,Bart Forrier,Thomas D’hondt,Enrico Risaliti,Erik Wilhelm +6 more
- 01 Nov 2022
TL;DR: In this article , a real-time implementation of a stability controller based on measured (and/or estimated) yaw rate and sideslip angle and on phase-plane related stability criteria is presented.
