An eight-connected 3D lead(II) metal–organic framework with octanuclear lead(II) as a secondary building unit: synthesis, characterization and luminescent property
TL;DR: In this article, a 3D lead-II metal-organic framework with octanuclear secondary building units (SBUs) was obtained and fully characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, IR, elemental analysis, TG-DTA and fluorescent spectra.

A heterometallic sodium(i)-europium(iii)-organic layer exhibiting dual-responsive luminescent sensing for nitrofuran antibiotics, Cr2O72- and MnO4- anions.
TL;DR: These interesting results indicate that heteromatallic coordination polymers can serve as favorable dual- or even multiple-responsive luminescence sensors to selectively recognize different kinds of contaminants.

Cobalt-doped graphitic carbon nitride with enhanced peroxidase-like activity for wastewater treatment
TL;DR: In this paper, a facile one-pot thermal condensation method with urea and cobalt chloride was used to synthesize cobalt-doped graphitic carbon nitride (Co-g-C3N4) materials with different cobalt contents.

Unusual Polymeric ZnII/CdII Complexes with 2,6-Diaminopurine by Synergistic Coordination of Nucleobases and Polycarboxylate Anions: Binding Behavior, Self-Assembled Pattern of the Nucleobase, and Luminscent Properties
TL;DR: In this paper, the coordination behavior of 2,6-diaminopurine (Hdap) was investigated and a tetranuclear ZnII-core-based two-dimensional (2D) covalent layer for {[Zn4(μ2-HdAP)2(tp)3(μ3-OH)2]·2H2O}n was constructed by incorporating aliphatic/aromatic polycarboxylate as coligands under hydrothermal conditions and were fully structurally characterized.

Co(II), Mn(II) and Cu(II)-directed coordination polymers with mixed tetrazolate-dicarboxylate heterobridges exhibiting spin-canted, spin-frustrated antiferromagnetism and a slight spin-flop transition.
TL;DR: Three new paramagnetic ion-directed coordination frameworks, obtained by solvo-/hydrothermal reactions of 5-amino-1H-tetrazole (Hatz), 5-nitroisophathalic acid (H(2)nip) with an inorganic Co(II), Mn(II) or Cu( II) salt, display spin-frustrated antiferromagnetic behavior with magnetic ordering at 16.0 K.
