TL;DR: In this article , the authors describe clinical validation of tagmentation-based PCR-free GS as a clinical test for rare germline disorders, and demonstrate that while lowering DNA input requirement and reducing library prep time, tagmentationbased WGS enables uniform coverage across the genome and robust detection of various types of genetic alterations.
