Conjugated polymers/semiconductor nanocrystals hybrid materials— preparation, electrical transport properties and applications
TL;DR: This critical review discusses specific preparation and characterization methods applied to hybrid materials consisting of π-conjugated polymers (or oligomers) and semiconductor nanocrystals, of great importance in the quickly growing field of hybrid organic/inorganic electronics.

Critical light instability in CB/DIO processed PBDTTT-EFT:PC71BM organic photovoltaic devices
Andrew J. Pearson,Paul E. Hopkinson,Elsa Couderc,Konrad Domanski,Mojtaba Abdi-Jalebi,Neil C. Greenham +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors identify a critical and severe light-induced burn-in phase that reduces power conversion efficiency by at least 60% after 24 hours simulated AM1.5 illumination, and correlate this process in-situ with the simultaneous emergence of space-chare effects on the ms timescale.

Effect of the treatment with (di-)amines and dithiols on the spectroscopic, electrochemical and electrical properties of CdSe nanocrystals' thin films
TL;DR: In this article, the surface ligand exchange in the solid state of thin films of nanocrystals has been studied and it has been shown that a shift of several tens of meV of the NCs' HOMO and LUMO levels takes place upon surface ligands exchange, confirmed by FTIR spectroscopy.

Charge transport in poly(3-hexylthiophene):CdSe nanocrystals hybrid thin films investigated with time-of-flight measurements
Elsa Couderc,Nicolas Bruyant,Angela Fiore,Frédéric Chandezon,David Djurado,Peter Reiss,Jérôme Faure-Vincent +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the charge carrier mobilities and transport dispersivity in hybrid films composed of poly(3-hexylthiophene) and CdSe nanocrystals by the time-of-flight method, using a field range of 105-106 V/cm.
