Synthese von 2-siloxysubstituierten Cyclopropancarbonsäure-methylestern
TL;DR: In this paper, a 2-siloxysubstituierten cyclopropancarbonsaure-methylester C is synthesized from silyl enol ethers E and methyl diazoacetate (D).

Ringöffnungsreaktionen von 2‐Siloxycyclopropancarbonsäuremethylestern zu 4‐Oxoalkansäurederivaten
TL;DR: In this article, a great variety of methyl 2-(trialkylsiloxy)cyclopropanecarboxylates C1-C31 are cleaved under very mild condition and with excellent yields providing 4-oxoalkanoic esters D1-D31 which are important synthetic building blocks.

Interaction between HP1α and replication proteins in mammalian cells
TL;DR: It is reported here that murine HP1α interacts with the preRC proteins ORC1, ORC2 and CDC6, supporting the notion that ORC and probably CDC6 play an important role in murineHP1α function and indicating that HP1 α exerts functions in mitosis and cytokinesis.

Ku antigen supports termination of mammalian rDNA replication by transcription termination factor TTF-I.
TL;DR: Recombinant Ku protein, purified as heterodimer from coinfected insect cells, is able to partially rescue the barrier activity in Kudepleted HeLa cell extracts, demonstrating that transcription termination factor I and Ku act synergistically to prevent headon collision between the replication and the transcription machinery.

Ring opening reactions of methyl 2‐silyloxycyclopropanecarboxylates to 4‐oxoalkanoic acid derivatives
TL;DR: The Cyclopropane (I) lassen sich unter milden Bedingungen und in sehr hoher Ausb., wie an einigen Beispielen gezeigt, in Ester des Typs (II) (grostenteils Diastereomerengemische), die als Synthesebausteine von Bedeutung sind, uberfuhren as mentioned in this paper.
