- 01 Jun 2017
TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that conformal metal layers can be deposited on bSi surfaces by electron beam evaporation, allowing specific contact resistivities down to (0.3 ± 0.2) mΩ·cm2 on boron-implanted surfaces with nickel or aluminum contacts.
Investigating the Effect of Crystal Morphology on Optoelectronic Properties of Zinc Phosphide Thin Films via Optical-pump Terahertz Probe Spectroscopy
Yinghong Huang,Xinyun Liu,Rajrupa Paul,Elias Z. Stutz,Mahdi Zamani,Djamshid A. Damry,Léa Buswell,S. E. Steinvall,Jean-Baptiste Leran,Mirjana Dimitrievska,Anna Fontcuberta i Morral,J. Boland +11 more
- 17 Sep 2023
TL;DR: This study investigates the effect of crystal morphology on the optoelectronic properties of zinc phosphide thin films using optical-pump terahertz probe spectroscopy, extracting carrier lifetime and mobility to optimize solar cell performance.
On the feasibility to form BaZrS 3 chalcogenide perovskite from sulfurized oxide precursors
Santhanu Panikar Ramanandan,Andrea Giunto,Elias Z. Stutz,Benoit Xavier Marie Reyner,Il'eane Tiphaine Franccoise Marie Lefevre,Marin Rusu,Susan Schorr,Thomas Unold,Anna,Fontcuberta i Morral,J. M. Prieto,Mirjana Dimitrievska +11 more
TL;DR: In this article , a two-step reaction involving an intermediate amorphization step of the BaZrO 3 crystal phase was proposed to solve the problem of high-quality thin film growth.
The path towards 1 µm monocrystalline Zn3P2 films on InP: substrate preparation, growth conditions and luminescence properties
Mahdi Zamani,Elias Z. Stutz,Simon Escobar,Reza R. Zamani,Rajrupa Paul,Jean-Baptiste Leran,Mirjana Dimitrievska,Anna Fontcuberta i Morral +7 more
- 22 Apr 2021
TL;DR: In this article, an epitaxial synthesis of monocrystalline zinc phosphide Zn3P2 films using molecular beam epitaxy with thickness up to 1 µm thickness on InP (100) substrates was reported.
Towards defect-free thin films of the earth-abundant absorber zinc phosphide by nanopatterning
Simon Escobar Steinvall,Elias Z. Stutz,Rajrupa Paul,Mahdi Zamani,Nelson Y. Dzade,Valerio Piazza,Martin Friedl,Virginie de Mestral,Jean-Baptiste Leran,Reza R. Zamani,Anna Fontcuberta i Morral +10 more
- 26 Jan 2021
TL;DR: In this paper, selective area epitaxy and lateral overgrowth epitaxy are explored for the growth of zinc phosphide (Zn3P2), a promising earth-abundant absorber.
