Selection of high pressure torsion processing modes for fabrication of Al-Mg metal matrix composites
Gulnara Khalikova,Galia Korznikova,K. S. Nazarov,R. Kh. Khisamov,S. Sergeev,R U Shayakhmetov,Elena A. Korznikova,Radik R. Mulyukov +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a hybrid composite material fabricated from Al-Mg system using high pressure torsion (HPT) with 10, 20 and 30 anvil rotations was studied.
Graphene Nanoribbon as an Elastic Damper.
Iman Evazzade,I. P. Lobzenko,Danial Saadatmand,Elena A. Korznikova,Kun Zhou,Bo Liu,Sergey V. Dmitriev +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a two-phase stretching phenomenon is described for graphene nanoribbons with the help of molecular dynamics simulations, and the authors show that the loading-unloading curves exhibit a hysteresis-like behavior due to the energy dissipation during the domain wall nucleation and motion.
Excitation of solitary waves in Pt3Al intermetallic compound under AC driving
Pavel Zakharov,Mikhail D. Starostenkov,A. M. Eremin,Sergey V. Dmitriev,Y. Sharapova,Elena A. Korznikova +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the behavior of the intermetallic compound under external harmonic driving on the surface was analyzed using the molecular dynamics method, and the possibility of the formation of solitary waves in a wide range of ac driving frequency and amplitude was considered.
Nonlinear motion-induced anisotropy in FCC Cu
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors analyzed the nonlinear dynamics of two delocalized vibrational modes in an fcc copper crystal and concluded that the stability of the mode decreases with an increase in the initial amplitude.
Compressive soliton in phosphorene at finite temperature

TL;DR: In this article , an analysis of energy exchange in a complex of crowdions located in neighboring closely packed atomic row is presented. And the results reveal that closely located crowdions can intensively transfer energy from one to another thus affecting the dynamics and scenario of defect structure evolution in the crystal.
