Mapping the strength of agro-ecological lightweight concrete containing oil palm by-product using artificial intelligence techniques
TL;DR: In this article , a knowledge-aided modeling based on machine learning methods (e.g., for further development, Multivariate Adaptive Regression Splines (MARS), Gene Expression Programming (GEP), M5P Model Tree (M5P), and Extreme Learning Machine (ELM)) were selected.

On the implementation of the interpretable data-intelligence model for designing service life of structural concrete in a marine environment
TL;DR: In this paper , a machine learning approach based on linear and non-linear methods including Multivariate Adaptive Regression Splines (MARS), Gene Expression Programming (GEP), and M5p Model Tree (MT) was performed to predict the apparent surface chloride concentration (Cs) in the zones of the marine environment.

TL;DR: An ensemble meta-model is developed to predict the compressive strength of concrete mixtures incorporating industrial by-products. The model incorporates decision tree-based method and ensemble approaches to improve the pruning phase for strength simulation. The model outperforms other benchmark and ensemble models with a correlation coefficient of 0.960 and root mean square error of 7.884 MPa.
