N8− Polynitrogen Stabilized on Multi-Wall Carbon Nanotubes for Oxygen-Reduction Reactions at Ambient Conditions†
TL;DR: Oxygen-reduction reaction (ORR) experiments carried out using MWNT(+) N8 (-) as the cathodic catalyst shows that it is very active for ORR with an even higher current density than that of a commercial Pt/carbon catalyst.

N8‐ Polynitrogen Stabilized on Multi‐Wall Carbon Nanotubes for Oxygen‐Reduction Reactions at Ambient Conditions.
TL;DR: In this paper, a new N8- polynitrogen phase is stabilized on the positively charged sidewalls of -COOH functionalized multi-walled carbon nanotubes by cyclic voltammetry at ambient conditions using NaN3 dissolved in a buffer solution (pH 4.0) as the electrolyte.

Plasma Synthesis of Nitrogen Clusters on Carbon Nanotube Sheets
TL;DR: In this article, the radio frequency plasma synthesis of nitrogen clusters stabilized on carbon nanotube sheets has been demonstrated under various conditions, and it has been shown that a linear chain nitrogen cluster is formed under the plasma conditions employed and is stabilized most likely inside the walls of the carbon Nanotubes that are used as substrates during the synthesis.
