Synthesis and functionalization of bromomethylated poly(phenylene sulfide)
TL;DR: A soluble poly(phenylene sulfide) (PPS) derivative was synthesized by oxidative polymerization of bis(3,5-dimethylphenyl) disulfide.

Redox Behavior of Human Serum Albumin - Heme Hybrid on Graphite Electrode Modified with Didodecyldimethylammonium Bromide
TL;DR: The redox behavior of a synthetic hemoprotein, the recombinant human serum albumin (rHSA), incorporating a tetraphenylporphinatoiron derivative (FeP) was first evaluated using a graphite electrode modified with didodecyldimethylammonium bromide as a promoter.

Reduction of poly(4-vinylpyridine)-coordinated ferriprotoporphyrin IX by N-benzyl-1,4-dihydronicotinamide in N,N-dimethylformamide
TL;DR: In this article, the reduction of a ferriprotoporphyrin IX-pyridine or poly(4-vinyl pyridine) complex by N-benzyl-1,4-dihydronicotinamide in N,N-dimethylformamide was studied kinetically and thermodynamically by spectral measurements.

Oxidative polymerization of 2,6-dimethylphenol catalysed by insoluble polymer copper complexes
TL;DR: In this article, the catalytic activity and the molecular weight of the produced polymer were lower for the insoluble polymerCu complex because of steric hindrance, low flexibility of the ligand part and low concentration of the effective copper ion.

Capillary Blood Flow during Severe Hemodilution Observed by a Noninvasive Transcutaneous Technique Using Flash Epi-illumination
TL;DR: The results indicate that microhemodynamic properties during hemodilution can be transcutaneously analyzed with this new technique without surgical preparation of the skin.
