In order to make up the shortage of mine cable monitoring system, and build the coal mine internet of things more quickly. The gas wireless monitoring system was designed by using cc2430 which was used to build Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs), and combining MCU technology, sensor technology, store display and CAN bus communication technology. The overall framework of the system was given, and the WSNs was designed detailed, including wireless gas sensor, monitoring sub-station and monitoring gateway's hardware and software design. The system effectively solves the shortcomings of present monitoring systems, and can be used, as a new generation of monitoring system, to promote, due to its strong expansion and easy operation.

Coal Mine Gas Wireless Monitoring System Based on WSNs

It is an important and urgent task to achieve remote container monitoring and management when the containers are being transported anytime, anywhere. For this purpose, this paper first proposes a wireless networking system suitable for collecting and transmitting the status and location information of the transported containers. The proposed wireless networking system integrates RFID, sensors, ZigBee, cellular mobile network, and satellite mobile network to support both local data collection and remote data transmission. Furthermore, this paper proposes a Cyber-Physical System (CPS) model to provide a higher level control approach for managing the container transportation. Finally, this paper reports a prototype system developed to evaluate the feasibility and validity of our proposals.

Remote container monitoring with wireless networking and Cyber-Physical System

Aiming at make effective use of variables control, wireless sensor and monitoring, embedded and wireless communications technology in industrial fields to make intelligent precision irrigation in crops the article designed a closed-loop remote monitoring system of distributed precision irrigation by using Citect configuration software, hybrid sensor networks including wireless sensor networks (WSN) and wireless underground sensor networks (WUSN), ARM9 microprocessor and General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) module. The system consists of monitor computer, irrigation monitor controller, wireless sensor networks, GPRS wireless communication module and valves, in which the wireless sensor networks adopt hybrid topology above and below ground, the controllers utilizes embedded technology to control irrigation water yield that applied to each specific unit according to soil water content. The Citect configuration is used to manage data and HMI by the remote monitoring center, which can conduct a more high-level monitoring through web publishing. The results showed that the data sampling interval is set for 30 min, 4 groups WSN nodes were chosen, which the system could get soil temperature, humidity and soil water content in 5cm and 35cm depth, intelligent irrigation can save water about 25% compare with normal irrigation. This system realizes online automatic monitoring of crop precise irrigation, a hybrid wireless sensor network model for both aboveground and underground is creatively established, which is also the foundation for further study.

Remote Monitoring System for Intelligent Irrigation in Hybrid Wireless Sensor networks

The paper describes a simulation framework able to accomplish a simulation of a PV plants including a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). The developed framework is entirely implemented in a Matlab/Simulink environment, and can be used to accomplish in-depth performance evaluation of two very different systems interacting between them, the power generator and the wireless data transfer network. As an example, the developed framework is exploited to investigate the effects of possible data losses, or delays, on the efficiency of a PV generator based on the Module Integrated Converter concept and equipped with a centralized MPPT system exploiting a WSN to monitor PV modules electric variables and the distribution of solar irradiation and temperature over the plant area.

Efficiency assessment of MIC PV plants using Wireless Sensor Networks

Most of traditional gas monitoring uses wired or handled devices to transmit signals, while the complicated wiring causes great inconvenience for power supply, signal transmission, management and maintenance. To overcome these shortcomings, the paper gives a wireless combustible gas monitoring solution based on ZigBee technique using CC2530 chip which made by TI (Texas Instruments) [1] as the master chip, in which the ZigBee condense protocol is analyzed, network building solution is given, the software for application layer and driver are designed, and the real-time monitoring of combustible gas and selfish network building of sensor nodes are completed. The study results demonstrate that the parameters such as combustible gas concentration, micro-seismic signal under the case of harsh environment can be collected.

ZigBee is a kind of new technology which is designed for short-distance,low-rate and low-power wireless communication and is widely used in many fields.The paper mainly introduced the characteristic of ZigBee technology and its application of envi-ronmental monitoring and personnel positioning in the mine.Critical problems that appear in the application of ZigBee technology in the mine were also introduced,including the constructing of positioning network,constructing the wireless identity code of mobile ob-ject and locating the mobile object.
