Examining the relationship between land surface temperature and landscape features using spectral indices with Google Earth Engine
Bishal Roy,Ehsanul Bari +1 more
TL;DR: In this article , the spectral indices corresponding to landscape features have a considerable explanatory capacity for describing LST scenarios, and the correlation of these indices with LST ranges from -0.52 (NDBI) to +0.57 (NDVI).

Comparison of temporal changes in urban settlements and land surface temperature in Rangpur and Gazipur Sadar, Bangladesh after the establishment of city corporation
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated whether key administrative change is the primary factor accelerating drastic urbanization rather than historical development trends and examined the extent of urban class and LST change from 2006 to 2020 throughout Gazipur and Rangpur Sadar Upazila using Landsat 5 and 8 imagery.

Phytosociology and biodiversity of roadside herbs in a salinity-affected coastal area of Bangladesh.
TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the impact of environmental stressors on the distribution of herbaceous plants in the coastal area of Bangladesh and revealed a strong spatial pattern and tendency to shrink with the rise of soil salinity while progressing towards the southeast direction.
