Hydrothermal synthesis of prism-like and flower-like ZnO and indium-doped ZnO structures
TL;DR: In this article, an indium-doped ZnO structure with different morphologies was prepared by hydrothermal method at 150°C and the structure formation was controlled by the zinc ion/hydroxide ion molar ratio and presence of l -histidine in the reaction mixture.

Structural, optical, and adsorption properties of ZnO2/poly(acrylic acid) hybrid thin porous films prepared by ionic strength controlled layer-by-layer method
TL;DR: It was found that polarization of water molecules in the adsorption layer is much lower than in the liquid water when the surface coverage (Theta) is low and this phenomenon is shown to be exploited for the application of the films as optical sensors.

Composition-dependent sintering behaviour of chemically synthesised CuNi nanoparticles and their application in aerosol printing for preparation of conductive microstructures
Edit Pál,Robert Kun,Christina Schulze,Volker Zöllmer,Dirk Lehmhus,Marcus Bäumer,Matthias Busse,Matthias Busse +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a solution combustion method was used to create pure metal (Cu and Ni) and copper-nickel alloy particles with face-centred cubic crystal structure for use in direct write printing and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy measurements revealed that after the reduction process the surface of the alloy nanoparticles was partially oxidised in air and the amount of metallic surface species decreased, while the concentration of oxidic surface species and hydroxides increased with increasing Cu concentration.

Hybrid ZnO/polymer thin films prepared by RF magnetron sputtering
TL;DR: In this article, a multilayered hybrid film with different layer thicknesses was prepared by radio frequency magnetron sputtering and morphological investigations showed that a real layered hybrid film structure formed.

Growth of raspberry-, prism- and flower-like ZnO particles using template-free low-temperature hydrothermal method and their application as humidity sensors
Edit Pál,Viktória Hornok,Robert Kun,Vladimir Chernyshev,Torben Seemann,Imre Dékány,Matthias Busse,Matthias Busse +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the absolute impedance of Raspberry-, prism-and flower-like ZnO particles was found to be strong dependent on the morphology, and the space-charge-limited conductivity transport mechanism was proved by the oscillatory behaviour of impedance.
