A Guide to Selecting Flexible Survival Models to Inform Economic Evaluations of Cancer Immunotherapies.
Stephen Palmer,Isabelle Borget,Tim Friede,Don Husereau,Jonathan Karnon,Benjamin Kearns,Emma Medin,E. Peterse,S. Klijn,E. J. Verburg-Baltussen,Elisabeth Fenwick,Jo Borrill +11 more
TL;DR: In this article , a virtual advisory board comprising 7 international experts with in-depth knowledge of survival analysis and health technology assessment was held in summer 2021, where the experts discussed 24 questions across 6 topics: the current survival model selection procedure, data maturity, heterogeneity of treatment effect, cure and mortality, external evidence, and additions to existing guidelines.

Retrospective Comparison of Survival Projections for CAR T-Cell Therapies in Large B-Cell Lymphoma
E. Peterse,E. J. Verburg-Baltussen,Alexa Stewart,Fei Fei Liu,Christopher Parker,MJ Treur,Bill Malcolm,S. Klijn +7 more
- 31 Aug 2023
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that mixture cure and cubic spline models provide the most accurate survival extrapolations of CAR T-cell therapies in LBCL and GOF should not be the only criteria used when selecting the optimal survival model.

P1744: accuracy of predicting long-term survival of chimeric antigen receptor (car) t cell therapies in large b-cell lymphoma (lbcl)
E. J. Verburg-Baltussen,A. Stewart,F.-F. Liu,Christopher Parker,E. Peterse,MJ Treur,Bill Malcolm,S. Klijn +7 more
TL;DR: This retrospectively examined the predictive accuracy of different survival models for estimating OS of CAR T cell therapies in LBCL using data cutoffs with different follow-up durations from the respective studies to assess the appropriateness of using statistical goodness-of-fit criteria as guidance for survival model selection.
POSB11 Correlation and Prognostic Value of Surrogate Endpoints and Overall Survival (OS) in Multiple Myeloma (MM): A Systematic Literature Review (SLR)
Emre Yucel,Bill Malcolm,I Diakité,E. Peterse,A. Stewart,J. Spoorendonk +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a review and evaluation of potential surrogate endpoints for OS in MM and the use of these endpoints to support health technology assessment (HTAs) for new therapies when mature OS data are unavailable is presented.
P10 Evaluating the Correlation between Monthly Migraine Days and Quality-of-Life: Utility Analyses to Inform a Japanese Cost-Effectiveness Model for Fremanezumab in Migraine
TL;DR: A cost-effectiveness model (CEM) for fremanezumab in migraine prevention from a Japanese public healthcare payer perspective has been developed in this paper , where the correlation between the number of monthly migraine days (MMD) and a patient's quality of life using data from Japanese-Korean trials was analyzed.
