Determination of trace amounts of gold in the presence of rare earth elements in rock samples from makhtesh ramon (southern israel), by instrumental epithermal neutron activation analysis
TL;DR: In this paper, the presence of rare earth elements (REE) from vein samples in the basaltic rocks of Makhtesh Ramon, located in southern Israel, was determined using multiple gamma-peak, ratios derived from Eu standards and mixtures of Au and Eu.

Neutron activation analysis for determination of trace elements in sediments in the Sea of Galilee, Israel
TL;DR: The feasibility of applying both thermal and epithermal neutron activation analysis for simultaneous determinations of elemental composition in sediments, collected from the Sea of Galilee (Kineret Lake), Israel, during 1988-1993, was experimentally investigated as discussed by the authors.

Neutron activation analysis for environmental trace element research determination of aluminium in drinking water
N. Lavi,E. Neeman,Y. Nir-El +2 more
TL;DR: Instrumental neutron activation analysis (INAA) was applied to the rapid determination of aluminium in drinking water by measuring the γ-ray photopeak at 1778 keV of the short-lived radionuclide28Al as mentioned in this paper.

Determination of elemental composition of settling particles in Israel following Saharan dust storms by neutron activation analysis
TL;DR: In this article, the concentrations of 26 elements (Al, Ba, Br, Ca, Ce, Co, Cl, Cr, Eu, Fe, Hf, K, La, Mg, Mn, Na, Rb, Sb, Sc, Si, Ta, Th, Ti, U, V, and Yb) in settling particles were determined by instrumental neutron activation analysis.
