Influence of PBT crystallization on miscibility degree of amorphous phase in PC/PBT melt blends
TL;DR: In this paper, a mixture of bisphenol-A-polycarbonate (PC) with poly(butyleneterephthalate) (PBT) was studied by DSC and DMA and it was shown that the mixture is miscible in the melt state and also in solid state if it is possible to suppress PBT crystallization.

Design of poly (ester imide)/polysulfone multiblock copolymers and their property profiles
Doris Pospiech,Liane Häubler,Kathrin Eckstein,Hartmut Komber,Dieter Voigt,Dieter Jehnichen,E. Meyer,Andreas Janke,Hans R. Kricheldorf +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, a multiblock copolymers containing liquid crystalline poly(ester imide) blocks coupled with polysulfone segments have been synthesized by melt transesterification polycondensation.

Tailoring of polymer properties by the synthesis of multiblock copolymers
Doris Pospiech,Liane Häußler,E. Meyer,Dieter Jehnichen,Andreas Janke,Frank Böhme,Hans R. Kricheldorf +6 more
TL;DR: The coupling of liquid crystalline segments with both flexible segments and rigid-amorphous segments enables the tailoring of desired properties such as phase and thermal behavior, solid phase structure and morphology.

LC multiblock copolymers containing polysulfone segments. II. Material properties
TL;DR: The synthesis of multiblock copolymers containing liquid crystalline, semi-aromatic polyester segments of poly(ethylene terephthalate-co-oxybenzoate), and polysulfone segments with different segment molecular weights was described in this paper.

Thermotropic elastomers with poly(oxy-1,4-butanediyl) units in the main chain
Doris Pospiech,Hartmut Komber,Dieter Voigt,Liane Häußler,E. Meyer,Gottfried Schauer,Dieter Jehnichen,Frank Böhme +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the synthesis of thermotropic elastomers from trimellitimide-terminated poly(oxy-1,4-butanediyl) [synonyms: poly(tetramethylene ether glycol), PTMG; poly(Tetrahydrofuran), poly(THF)] and acetoxy groupterminated rigid blocks is described.
