TL;DR: Sigmoid stricture prevents endoscopic exploration of the entire colon and thus it may prove difficult to rule out a malignancy and it is recommended that stricture associated with diverticular disease should be an indication for sigmoidectomy including lymph node clearance.

TL;DR: THE AUTHORS-MDCT indicated the location of tumors perfectly and permitted a good determination of their T-stage, and the technique is thus pertinent for the planning of laparoscopic surgery for colon cancer.
