TL;DR: In this article, a cross validation of the cluster catalogue selected by the red-sequence Matched-filter Probabilistic Percolation algorithm (redMaPPer) in Dark Energy Survey year 1 (DES-Y1) data by matching it with the Sunyaev-Zel'dovich effect (SZE) selected cluster catalogue from the South Pole Telescope SPT-SZ survey is performed.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors mapped out 87 new supervoids in the total 5000 deg2 footprint of the Dark Energy Survey at 0.2 < z < 0.9 to probe these anomalous claims.
